The Kelley Moment Coin is awarded to students, faculty, and staff who demonstrate our values of integrity, accountability, perseverance, appreciation, and engagement.

When we live our values, we create moments that build the Kelley culture and have the potential to open up new opportunities for success for ourselves and others. These moments lead to momentum in our professional and personal lives and define what it means to be a Kelley.

Who is eligible?

The Kelley Moment Coin can be awarded to any Indiana University Bloomington student who is taking undergraduate courses at the Kelley School of Business as well as Kelley faculty and staff.

How are coins awarded?

To award a coin, the nominator (student, faculty, or staff) must submit a story about how the nominee (student, faculty, or staff) demonstrated one of the five Kelley values- integrity, accountability, perseverance, appreciation, and engagement.

All nominations will be reviewed by the Kelley Coin Committee. After the Kelley Coin Committee reviews the nomination, the nominator will receive a notification by email of the committee’s decision. If the committee approves awarding a coin, the nominator will have two options for how to award the coin:

1. The nominator may pick up the coin from the Assistant to Chair of the Undergraduate Program in the Undergraduate Program office in Hodge Hall 2030 and present it personally to the recipient. The coin recipient will also be notified by email that they have been awarded the coin, and they will be given an opportunity to review the story prior to its publication on this website.

2. The nominator can choose to have the coin awarded by a member of the Kelley School’s senior leadership at the end of semester recognition ceremony. Regardless of how individuals receive their coin, all the coin recipients will be invited to a coin awarding ceremony at the end of the semester to get further recognition.
